(Martens schoonvader, Frederik Berends van Luyk, werd bij publieke verkoop in Maart 1795 pachter van de Dijkgraafsmolen, gelegen op de Zuidelijke arm van de Wiesselse Beek.
Na diens overlijden werd hij opgevolgd door Teunis Cornelis Nieland, welke te Apeldoorn op 10-4-1803 trouwde met Hesterdjen van Luyk, weduwe van Marten.
Deze Teunis Nieland, ged. te Apeldoorn op 16-12-1764 als zoon van Jan Theunis Nieland en van Berendina Cramer, was meester papiermaker op de Verbrande Molen te Apeldoorn.
In 1811 stond de Dijkgraafsmolen stil door financiële ondergang van zijn pachter, Teunis Nieland.
Op 25-11-1811 meldden de Kon. Archieven over dit huurcontract. Op 19-2-1812 werd Nieland ontslagen van zijn pachtplicht).
