Notes about Thomas Grieve

Thomas moved to McKillop Twp, Huron Cty with his parents in 1866. He married Mary Ann Shaw and eight of their children were born in McKillop Twp and one son was born in Park River, ND. They farmed at Hamilton, ND. They moved to Waldeck District of Saskatchewan in the Municipality of Excelsior, No. 166, in 1906. The Grieves homesteaded on the NE 1/4 20-16-12 W3 and lived there until Thomas died of lobar pneumonia in 1916. Mary moved to the village of Waldeck. Mary died in Regina. His father in law D.M. Shaw was living with them on 1911 census.
