      1693 Claes Jansen eigenaar, pachter en papiermaker. Claes bouwde in 1709 een windpapiermolen vlak bij zijn watermolen in Heelsum. Hij leende hiervoor 6000 gld. Claes verdronk op 24-7-1728. Na zijn overlijden zet Maria samen met de kinderen het bedrijf voort.

      In 1743 kon Maria de schuld die ze hadden bij de heer van Doorwerth, 9000 gld., ineens terugbetalen.
      Maria maakt een testament waarin de kinderen (Gerrit was overleden in 1736 en Claas in 1728 verdronken) alles erven.
      De dochter Maria, getrouwd met Willem van Laar mocht haar goed niet verkopen, alleen van de opbrengst genieten.
