1881 aged 7, living in Pirton with her parents, George and Mary Ann Titmuss, and sisters Prudence and Catherine. 1891 aged 17, living at Lady's College, 1-3 Byng Place, Tottenham Court, St Pancras in the employment of Resident Superintendent Maria Broderick 32, Lecturer in Egyptology. There were four other Pirton girls employed here: Naomi Reynolds, Maria Reynolds, Fanny Reynolds and Alice Cherry. 1901 aged 27, living at Womersley House, Dickenson Road, Hornsey, Middlesex in the employment of Jenny Taylor 36, Lady Superintendent of lodging house for students and professionals. 1911 aged 37, living at 39 Charteris Road, Finsbury Park, Islington with her husband of 9 years, Frank Abbiss, children Harold George, Elsie Ruth, Eva May and Harry, and boarders her cousin William Titmuss, brother in law Frederick Goldsmith and nephew Frank Goldsmith. It was noted that Frank and Ruth had 4 children, 3 living and 1 deceased, but it seems all 4 were living according to the census entries.
