Notes about Elizabeth Crouch

Andrew Crouch of Tygart's Valley
Author: Randy Stalnaker Date: 7 Dec 2002 2:01 PM GMT

I am trying to find out any information on the death of Andrew Crouch about 1780, son of John Crouch Sr., husband to Judith Westfall, and father to John, Elizabeth, Jacob and Andrew. I know he was in Capt. Ralph Stewart's company in Dunsmores War, and that he did not die as some reported from a rattlesnake bite, that was his brother, Jonathon, who died in 1786. I was told that he left a will, with his brother Joseph as the executor, but have not been able to locate it. I am guessing his death may be related to the revolutinary war, but have not verified it, and would be most grateful for any information I get.
thanks, Randy

Andrew,Jacob,John,and Joseph Crouch
Author: Randy Stalnaker Date: 19 Dec 2002 12:47 AM GMT

I am trying to find out any information on a Jacob Crouch who was listed as serving in Dunsmore's War, from Bedford County. Their are also listings for Andrew ,Joseph and John Crouch, and I was wanting to know if they are the sons of John Crouch Sr., who was also the son of David, Johnathon, Elizabeth and Sarah, who lived at one time in Tygarts Valley Va, now WV. There is also several mentions of Jacob in the Harrison County Court Minute Book 1784 to 1792, and one of those mentions he owned land near Joseph Crouch, which would now be in present day Huttonsville, WV. yet, he shows up on no grants of land in his name, and he shows up on no tax lists, he represented the Crouch family in several legal matters, but then just seems to vanish, does anyone know anything about him?
Thanks for your help

!per the Williams family bible her maiden name was Crouch.
Margaret Romanoski sent this extract to me. I met Margie over the internet. Her grandfather Mustard (several greats) m. Elizabeth after Henry's death.

!Per Mildred Delay Smith
The Joseph Crouch and Amy Exline who are the parents of Mary Crouch, who m. Jacob Delay, Mildred believes Joseph to be Elizabeth's brother.

Elizabeth is somehow related to George Williams Sr. Of Pike Co Ohio (#539) She is about 20 years older than George, could be older sister or aunt or cousin. Since ages are approximates, it is hard to tell. Elizabeth and William Mustard's family arrived in Ohio in early 1800's, the same time George and his brothers arrive. Maiden name of Williams from Susan Kimura (#539) William Mustard Sr married: 1)Elizabeth Williams (MRIN 51) about 1780, probably in Pennsylvania. Marriage date calculated on birth of first child in 1783. This assumes that all the children listed are hers and that he did not have a wife before her. This calculates a birthdate of about 1760-1765. Death date calculated on approximate remarriage date of husband. Do not know if she died before or after the family moved to Ohio. 2)Elizabeth Delay after 1808/1811 probably in Ohio (MRIN 150). (RIN 721) 1837 July 24, Will of William Mustard Probated, Pike Co, Ohio Probate Book A p 106 and Book 1, p 78. Written 21 April 1837. No wife listed. Children: John, Samuel, Joseph, Lydia Smith wife of William Smith, George, William, Enos, Sarah Zarley, Ann Pollock and Elizabeth Mustard. Samuel and William listed as executors. (511).
