RALPH CARMEN HARRISON
Ralph Carmen Harrison, the son of James and Anna Crites Harrison was born November 17, 1911 at Glen Elder, Kansas. He passed away on Feb. 27, 1976 at the Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit, Kansas at the age of 64 years.
On October 23, 1933, he was united in marriage with Martha Schlaefli, and
the family lived in Glen Elder until 1956, where he operated an auto agency and garage. They then moved to McAllen, Texas, where they owned and operated a motel until 1969, when they sold the motel and began spending their summers in Glen Elder.
Carmen was a member of the Glen Elder Church until 1956, when he transferred to the First Methodist Church in McAllen, Tex., and a few years later, he joined the McAllen Church of God.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Martha, three children, George Robert Harrison and wife and five chidren Mark, Ricky, Mike, Lisa and Nichole, of Grandview, Missouri; Carma Jane [sic] Wright and husband, Dick, and two sons, Bruce and Bryan of Beloit, Kansas; and Ms. Winnie Byrd of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Robert Harrison and wife, Barbara of Beloit; and one sister, Mrs. Iretta Neifert and husband, Duane, of San Antonio, Tex.
