Margaret's parents were William Armstrong and Mary Ann Wilson. Wiseman's Creek is a small settlement just out of Bathurst, not far from Oberon, NSW. William Armstrong died 16 August, 1866, aged 75 years. He was a farmer living at Wiseman's Creek. Cause of death was listed as 'decay of nature'. William's parents were William Armstrong, farmer, and Margaret Crawford. William was burined on 18.8.1866 at Glyndwr. Witnesses were Alexander Graham and Noble Wilson. William was born in Ireland and had been in NSW for 27 years. William married Mary Ann Wilson in Ireland, when he was 36 years of age. Children of marriage listed as Margaret 35, Mary Ann 32, Christopher 25, Wilson 23, Henry 20, Benjamin 17, and 1 female and 5 males deceased.
