"ARNOLD ANDERSON
Arnold E. Anderson, 65, 2409 E. Sioux St., died Wednesday in Soux Valley Hospital.

Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Madison. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Trent before coming to Sioux Falls. He served in C.C. Camps in the Black Hills area after his marriage to Mathilda Beuckens April 16, 1940, in Luverne, Minn. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls.
He was employed with John Morell and Co. before moving to Oregon in 1942. In 1947, he returned to Sioux Falls and Morrell's before retiring in 1976.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; three sons: Richard, Zapata, Texas; Steve and Michael, both of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Pekoske, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers: Roger, Eugene, Ore.; Russell, Springfield, Ore.; and Lionel, Sisters, Ore.; and a sister, Mrs. Tom (Rozetta) Verdo, Bethel Island, Calif.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday in George Boom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin Friday morning in the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Association."

The only month in 1986 where the 14th is on a Wednesday is May, then burial would be on 17 May 1986. If, however the death was in June 1986, then the burial was on the Saturday, the 14th, not the death. The death would have been on Wednesday, the 11th. - D. A.
