SPECIAL NOTES BY SHARON KAY NORDMAN OGLE (Granddaughter of Edith Maude Stinson Nordman) As I sit here today, September 13, 2000, after scanning in the picture of Grandma when she was about 14 or 15 years old, (my estimate), I remember her beautiful brown warm eyes that just seemed to sense what I was thinking and feeling. She was so soft and warm and I loved to sleep with her, as she would always "cuddle" with me in the night. We would lay there together and listen to the radio in the dark, hearing the "squeaky" door on "Intersanctum", I think the name ofthe program was called. She would pretend to be frightened and squeeze me a little tighter and I hug her even closer. I would then fall asleep in her arms. I remember she smelled of "Gold Bond Powder" and I thought that was the bestgrandma smell in the whole wide world. I think her Grandfather, John Langdon Stinson, might have had curly auburn hair....this is what Grandma had...wavy auburn hair, and it was so beautiful. In John "Lang"don's picture, it looks to me asif he had very curly hair and quite coarse strands. Grandma looked like a pretty little "Scots" lady.
