Notes about Pieter Ris


De jonge Piet Ris kwam op 14 september 1911 als noodhulp bij het gilde, op 22 jarige leefdtijd, daar hij veel aan toneel deed kreeg hij al spoedig de bijnaam van GŠ???????BuzeauGŠ???????? en verd ingedeeld bij het gele Veem.
Na 20 jaar noodhulp werd de jonge Piet Ris jr vastman bij het gilde op 42 jarige leeftijd in het jaar 1931.

Op 14 september 1961 was het 50 jaar geleden dat Piet Ris jr bij het Alkmaarse Kaasdragersgilde was gekomen. Ook hij ontving hiervoor van de gemeente Alkmaar een zilveren penning van verdienste.
Op zondag 21 mei 2006 kwam een gedeelte van de familie Ris, uit vele delen van Nederland op bezoek in de Kaasdragerskamer, om 16.00 uur. Dit was door Betty Balder aangevraagd, de rondleiding werd door mij [ J.van Staten - oud kaasvader, Alkmaars Kaasdragersgilde ] verzorgd.

n.b. Voor het eerst in 300 jaar vierden 3 kaasdragers gelijk hun 50 jarige jubileum : te weten
