Voorts Pieter Riemer, oud 25 jaar, timmerman, wonende te Arnhem en Hermanus Jan Hendrik Ledeboer, oud 28 jaar, schilder, eveneens wonende te Arnhem, niet verwant.
De aanwezige ouders van de bruidegom en de moeder van de bruid gaven toestemming; de vader van de bruid was overleden.
Het bruidspaar overlegde 1e hun geboorteakten, 2e een bewijs dat Jan aan zijn verplichtingen t.a.v. de Nationale Militie had voldaan, 3e de overlijdensakte van de vader van de bruid.

DE COMMISSARIS DES KONINGS IN DE PROVINCIE GELDERLAND verklaart, dat Jan Wessels, geboren te Rheden, den 2 Februari 1861, wonende te Velp, van beroep kleermaker, zoon van Hendrik en van Johanna Gamelkoorn, beiden wonende te Velp, in het inschrijvings-register van de gemeente Rheden van het jaar 1880, voor de lichting van het jaar 1881,is ingeschreven; en dat hem vervolgens bij de loting is ten deel gevallen No. 101, dat, buiten oproeping gebleven zijnde, hem tot geen dienst heeft verplicht.
Gegeven te ARNHEM, den 29 October 1886.

Jan woonde op de adressen A118, A118a, 295k en A223 bij zijn ouders tot 27 februari 1882. Toen vertrok hij naar Brussel vanwaar hij op 18 maart 1882 terugkeerde naar het ouderlijk huis Hoofdstraat A 225.

Volgens het bevolkingsregister 1883-1890 en 1890-1900 woonde hij na zijn huwelijk Nieuwstraat A340.

Bevolkingsregister 1890-1900 vermeldt ook nog Wilhelminastrat A123, Hoofdstraat 225 en Kerkallee B127.

Als laatste wordt in het bevolkingsregister 1900-1912 vermeld Hoofdstraat 336, later gewijzigd in nr. 429.
