Question/answer » Which consistency checks are performed on the genealogical data provided?

When genealogical data is published on Genealogy Online, various checks are automatically performed.

The birth, baptism, marriage, divorce, death, cremation and burial data of each person in the publication are checked against each other, in terms of age, also in relation to children and parents. The author of the publication can view the total list of reports. However, the reports are also shown to visitors of the publication.

A distinction is made between errors Checks and improbabilities (warnings) Checks .

For the improbabilities, it is up to the visitor / author to check the information, it can be incorrect but also good! Genealogy Online publishes all data supplied, it is up to the author / visitor to be critical.
