Question/answer » What happens with my supplied data?

The data you provide to Genealogy Online is processed into content (HTML) for presentation on this site. Your source material will never be immediately downloadable! So you can safely offer your GEDCOM file, it will not fall into strange hands or be passed on and / or resold!

To make all publications easy to find, all Genealogy Online pages are made known to search engines such as Google, so that these search engines can index the pages and process them in the search results.

Stamboomzoeker.nl (a Dutch genealogical search engine) and the GenDex Network are provided with information that is published on Genealogy Online. Stamboomzoeker.nl and GenDex Network can search anyone by first name, last name, place of birth and / or date of birth. The results are links to the actual publications.
