Went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Miss Nieboer was born in Kalamazoo, March 2, 1907, the daughter of Harm and Katherine (Kloosterman) Nieboer. Lena was a member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and
nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Irene Nieboer; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday morning at Heritage Christian Reformed Church, 2857 S. 11th St., with Pastor Simon Tuin officiating. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice of S.W. MI or Heritage Chr. Ref. Church. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to service time.
