Studeerde theologie in Leiden (1680) en Groningen (1682). Predikant te Gilze (1690) en Etten (1691).

NOTE: Jeremias werd op 15 Mei 1680 ingeschreven als student Leiden en op 16 Oktober 1682 te Groningen. Studeerde cum laude af in de theologie. Hij werd 1690 predikant te Gilze en in 1691 overgeplaatst naar Etten, beide collatien van Prins Willem III, en zulks ter vervanging van Ds. Hermikhuijsen, die hoewel van een aanklacht wegens onzedelijk gedrag vrijgesproken, naar Asch werd verplaatst.
