Lambert of Chalon (French: Lambert de Chalon; 930 - 22 February 978) was the count of Chalon from 956 to 978, and count of Autun.
He was the son of Robert of Dijon and Ingeltrude, and the brother to Rudolf, viscount of Chalon.[1]
Around 968, he married Adelaide of Chalon,[1] the daughter of Gilbert, Duke of Burgundy and widow of Robert of Vermandois. Their children included:
Hugh, count of Chalon and bishop of Auxerre[1]
Gerberga, who was married to Adalbert of Italy.[1]
Mathilda, married Geoffrey of Semur.[1]
Lambert died in 978, was interred at Paray-le-Monial,[2] and was succeeded in Chalon by his son Hugh.[1]
