Presentation of the Fredericka Voorhaar Slingerland ’32 Volunteer Service Award
Distinguished alumna Fredericka Voorhaar Slingerland, known affectionately as Freddie to her many friends, set the standard for volunteer service and philanthropy throughout the Capital Region. She was fiercely loyal and unstintingly generous to those organizations fortunate enough to have her support. In memory of Freddie, Albany Academy for Girls will honour an alumna who continuously gives her time, talent and treasure to benefit our School and the greater community.
This individual is an alumna who leads by example and reminds us all that we have the ability to light the path for those who follow.
