He (is and) wants to know it awful bad.

language: mix English-German-Dutch
Written by W Zuurhouds wife (native language German)
Appearantly this is a kind of threat addressed to the orphanage to allow William jr. to come home to Grand rapids after his sister Elisabeth died on 01 December 1918.
Grand Rapids, 27 December 1918
Dear Sir,
I will mail you a letter with the understanding that Mr. W Zuurhoud is going to mail W. Zuurhoud a ticket or a money Order next week and otherwise Pa he is going to make trouble.
Then Pa he is going to make them come here for the court.
Now you folks can take your xxxxx or bring William to the train to come home.
Now answer this letter in a short time because trouble is coming.
Yours Truly
Mr. W Zuurhoud Mrs. W Zuurhoud
