Judy Snetselaar, 59, of Webster City, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 ather home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at theFoster Funeral and Cremation Center, Webster City with Rev. PetePeterson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 12:30p.m. Saturday at the Colfax Cemetery in Colfax, Iowa
with Rev. Cindy Finn officiating.
Judith Ann Snetselaar, daughter of William and Anna Orlich Snetselaar,was born March 20, 1948 at Des Moines. She received her
education at the Colfax Public School, graduating in 1966. Whileattending the University of Northern Iowa, she received a B.S. degree
in Education and then her Masters Degree in Library Science. Since Augustof 1988, she has served as media specialist at the Webster City HighSchool. Prior to coming to Webster City, she had taught at the Villisca,Wyoming and Northeast Hamilton Schools.
Ms. Snetselaar is survived by her mother, Anna; her godson, Alex Crossand a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill, in September of 2005.
Ms. Snetselaar was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church and hadbeen attending Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City. She was amember of the Business and Professional Women and had received theGolden Apple, a teaching award, presented to her by Christy Vilsack, inrecognition of her excellence in education.
