Another clipping:
"The Ladies Missionary-Aid Society of the Atwood Reformed Church deeply mourns the loss of one of its members,
MRS. ALEX KLOOSTER
who was called Home, May 17, 1944.
Mrs. Klooster took a prominent part in all the activities of our organization, being Vice-President at the time of her death, but it was the Lord's will to call her to higher service.
"Her patient endurance, even admist intense suffering, has been an example to us all of a fine, Christlike character. During these days of forced inactivity, the truth of the statement has again come to us, "They also serve who only stand and wait."
"To the members of the family, and especially to the son, who was serving overseas, we extend heart-felt sympathy, assuring them that the Lord "turneth the shadow of death into the morning."
Mrs. G.A. Aalberts, Pres. Mrs. John Bos, Sec'y
Membership Records of Forest Grove Reformed Church, Jameston Township, Michigan: DeJonge, Harmke, child of Bouke and Johanna Bethlehem, baptized 10 August 1890. Note: "to Atwood, MI 3 May 1894" [Carolyn Medendorp, 4/1/98] No date of birth is provided, only the date of baptism.
