The late A.L. Hogan Member of well known Penang family The funeral of the late Mr A. L. Hogan whose remains were brought from London, took place at the Batu Gajah cemetery on Saturday, (25 May 1935), following a short service at the house and graveside, conducted by the Chaplin of Perak. Mr Hogan came of a family that has been connected with Penang for about a century. His father, the late Mr E.C.S. Hogan, and his uncle, the late Mr R.A.P. Hogan, will be remembered by old residents in Malaya. The former was a well known architect and surveyor, and the latter was a member of the legal firm of Hogan and Adams, now Hogan and Ivens.
