Zij had een relatie met Jack O'Brien.
Auntie Addie was the ugly duckling of the family and didn't marry formany years. Finally she met an Irishman by the name of Jack O'Brien who was much taken with her and they married and had a very happy life. Uncle Jack worked for the Schilling Spice Company in San Francisco and Aunt Addie opened a small grocery store in the basement of their house. She was very popular with the neighbors who came in to buy their little odds and ends. When Uncle Jack would come home from San Francisco in the evenings, she would take one whiff and say, Jack, you've been working on pepper today. She was an excellent cook and a charming little old lady. When she finally passed away, she had become Catholic so that she could be buried next to Jack.
