Books bought at an auction in Liverpool. Amongst them was a book "Select Pieces From the Poems of William Wordsworth" It was a school prize awarded to Francis Servaes for "Proficiency in Anc. History" in Midsummer 1870. Its from the Haymans Green School, West Derby, Liverpool. The red cover is half leather, with the name of the school & Coat of Arms embossed on the front in gold.

Francis left for South Africa and Australia and left his wife in the UK and she died all by herself, alone, in a sort of private house for elderly people.
