In the year Eighteen Hundred and Fifty Two, the Ninth of the month December have appeared before us, the undersigned
Mayor, official of (the) Civil records of the Municipality STELLENDAM, province Zuid-Holland in the town hall and in
presence of the witnesses,????iJacob Heintjes, twenty three years old, labourer, born in Stellendam en living in
Stellendam, adult son of Marinus Heintjes, labourer, and of Jacomijntje van Splunder, no occupation, also living at
Stellendam enlisted with the third Regiment, ?garrison? artillery (I cannot make out the Dutch there -RL)

and Marta van Driel????iaged twenty seven years old without occupation born in Stellendam and living in Stellendam, adult
daughter of Cornelis van Driel of profession labourer and of Iza van den Boogaard, without occupation also living in
Stellendam.

who have asked us to preside over their intended wedding, to this purpose making available to us their birth
certificates, have proof that the Groom has fulfilled his obligations towards the national militia with permission of
the Commanding Officer of the afore mentioned corps (and that) both proclamations (Ondertrouw)????ihave been made????ihere on
the 21st and 28th of November and the mutual parents here present have declared to us they consent to this marriage.

Furthermore (those appearing before us) have declared that the child,????iaccording to the birth certificate presented
herewith,????iwas born to them in this municipality December 28, 1851. Marinus van Driel hereby acknowledges this (child)
as theirs and as legitimate.????i

As a result thereof and after groom and bride each separately in response to the question asked (by me) as official of
Civil Registration declared that they accept each other as spouse and will faithfully fulfill all obligations (attached
to the state) of marriage, we have in the name of the law declared that the persons of Jacob Heintjes and Marta van
Driel mentioned above have been joined in matrimony.

From all ????iwhich was entered in this document, in the presence of

Dirk Heintjes, 27 years old, cousin of the groom,????iHubartus Klink, 27 years old,????iStoffel Jansen, 26 years old and Pieter
Hartman, 24 years old,????iacquaintances of the couple, all labourers and living at Stellendam and knowing the couple, who
with the couple, have after having the document read (to them), have signed it, except for Marta van Driel, Jacomijntje
van Splunder en Iza van den Boogaard, who declared not being able to write or to sign, as they had not learned.

Zij zijn getrouwd op 9 december 1852 te Stellendam, Goeree-Overflakkee, NL-ZH, zij was toen 28 jaar oud.
