Lori Marie Giesking was born January 30, 1960 in Buffalo Center to Ray and Betty (Hauskins Aukes. She attended Buffalo Center Community School and graduated with the class of 1978. Lori attended Fort Dodge Community College where shecompleted the Dental Assistant Program in 1979. She worked as a dental assistant in Iowa City at the Dental School.
On May 26, 1984 she was united in marriage to Rande Giesking at Immanual Lutheran Church, rural Titonka. Rande and Lori were engaged in farming in the area. Lori also worded part-time as a dental assistant in Britt, Elmore, Minnesotaand Bancroft until the onset of her illness in February of 1993.

She is survived by her husband, Rande: one son, Michel, and one daughter, Lauren, all of Woden; her parents, Ray and Betty Aukes of Buffalo Center; three brothers, Gary and his wife, Orva Aukes of Goodyear, Arizona; Doug and hiswife, Deb Aukes, and Ron Aukes, all of Buffalo Center, two sisters, Sheryl LuAnn and her husband, Kevin Johnson of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; her maternal grandmother, Etta Hauskins of Vancouver, Washington; and step-grandmother, KatherineAukes of Buffalo Center.
Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna and R. E. Aukes and Adrian Hauskins.'
