These Nowodworski family changed their name to Novorska.
Mr. Novorska writes, 'He [Carl O. Novorska] said Karl was about 5' 10', stocky build and owned a hardware store. Apparently Karl was a pipefiller or plumber?'
'I have a piece of either a birth certificate or a christening document which indicates that Karl was the son of Daniel (the spelling looks to be NORVODWORSKI although it could be NOWODWORSKI) and Friederika. The document written in oldGerman (hard to decipher) indicates her maiden name was STARK. Karl was born Feb. 15, 1887 in Elyria Lorain County, Ohio. My father indicated his understanding that Karl had two brothers, (which would sort of fit Frederick, Carl, andArthur scenario). Your understanding that Carl was born Feb. 22, 1887 is also real close to the 15th date. It would also make Karl about 24 years old when Carl was born.'
Another piece of the name 'story' which I recall hearing is this, supposedly Karl changed his name to NOVORSKI at some point. Then after he died, my grandmother changed the name to NOVORSKA. Allegedly, because the 'I' at the end of thename denotes masculine gender in Polish and 'A' denotes femine gender. Since she was all alone to raise my father, she changed it to NOVORSKA.

'Tonsillitus was not diphtheritic - Its cause, was the usual cause - The man evidently over exposed himself to cold weather - pollibly becaue overheated ets. (I can not see how it is possible to give the cause of an ordinary attach oftonsillites)' <>
