"...
We think we did find more about Hinderk and his especially his descendants. Or to be more specific: we think he is the main patriarch in our family from Ost Friesland to the Netherlands.
Your link from Hinderk Eerkes and his (first) marriage to Anna Kuper was our link to the origin of our familyname "Vissering" That probably needs some explanation...
We are from Groningen, in the northern part of the Netherlands. And searching in our family tree for the surname Vissering for more info about the man who had their their first child baptised in the Martinichurch (Groningen) on February 9 in 1787. This child was called Eerke Hinderks (or Hindriks) Vischering, and the mother was registered as Anna Cuipers. The fathers name is written down as Hinderk Eerkes Vischering.
We know he came from Ost Friesland (region Weener) to Groningen and was born about 1763. Anna was probably born about 1761 and that was all we could find. At first. We kept looking for this last name Vischering or Vissering/Fissering in Ost Friesland and could not find the missing link. We did find they only had 1 son together and Anna deceased somewhere before 1794. Because in 1794 he remarried in Ost Friesland.
So concluding: we think 'our' Hinderk Eerkes Vischering is 'your' Hinderk Eerkes.
If our conclusion is right then our next question is 'where did that last name Vischering came from'? Is that the reason we couldn't find anything before him because we were looking for a surname that wasn't used when he was born in 1763 in Visquard?
And if you know the marriage to Anna was to a blood relative: what was their link?
It does make more sense then he went from Visquard to the region of Holthuserheide if it was family.
Their son Eerke married and lived in the Netherlands (Midwolda). When he married in 1813, his father Hindrik signed to the marriage and the information says he was a Lehrer (schoolteacher) in Diele, Weener.

Frank & Francis Vissering"
