Mrs. Floyd Gardner, 39, died suddenly at 7 a.m. this morning at her home, 304 West Main st., West Lafayette, following 15 years' illness.

Floyd R. Gardner, 59, of 631 Ray Ave., New Philadelphia, died of an apparent heart attack at his home at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Born June 22, 1907, in Uhrichsville, he was a son of the late Harry Gardner and Anna Mulligan Gardner of West Lafayette Route 1. On Sept. 15, 1935, he was married to Madelyn West who died June 5, 1959.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert Speer of Newcomerstown; one son, Harold of Quincy, Mass.; four sisters, Mrs. Thelma Whetstone of West Lafayette, Mrs. Helen Wright of Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Mae Miller and Mrs. June Cover, both ofWest Lafayette Route 1; two brothers, Paul of West Lafayette Route 1 and Earl of Nellie; and five grandchildren. One daughter and one sister is deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Rev. Edwin Eshelman officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
