Deloris passed awayFriday, October 29, 2004 at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Funeral Home in Blue Earth was in charge of arrangements.
Deloris Genevieve (Nitz) Winter, daughter of Frank and Sether (Meyer) Nitz, was born September 7, 1925 in Ledyard. On December 8, 1945 she was united in marriage to Bernard Winter in Blue Earth.
Deloris was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth and of the Blue Earth VFW Auxiliary. She was a seamstress who made many wedding gowns. She also enjoyed pen and ink, woodworking, rose mailing, hardanger, sewing andcrafts, many of which, she taught herself. She also owned and operated a beauty shop in Blue Earth.
Deloris is survived by her daughter, Vivan, and her husband, Jerold Arndt, of Cologne, Minnesota; her grandsons: Jared Arndt of Cologne; Benjamin Arndt of Arlington, Minnesota; Ryan Arndt of Minneapolis, Minnesota; a great-granddaughter,Sierra Arndt, of Chaska, Minnesota; half-brothers: Rober 'Ike' Nitz and his wife, Sherry, of Texas; Frank Nitz and his wife, Peg, of Olatha, Kansas; half sister, Linda Larson, and her husband, Ron, of Arkansas. She was preceded in deathby her parents; her husband and her son, Randy Wintet; and a half brother, Virgil 'Putz' Nitz."
