Robert (31) and his wife Etta (27) were living in Holman Township, Osceola County, Iowa on 11 June 1900. Robert and Etta had been married for 6 years. Robert was a farmer and rented his farm. Both were born in Illinois and theirrespective parents were born in Germany. Both could read, write and speak English. Etta had had four children, all of which were still living. All four (Minnie, Andrew, Edith & Katie(?)) are listed as living with the family and they wereall born in Iowa.
