Christy Teahon, 24, went to live with the Lord on May 26, 2005. A celebration of a new life service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road in Fort Collins. Pastor Frank Estep will officiate. Cremation will be completed.Christy Charleen Teahon was born on June 23, 1980, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Linda Sue (Hampton) Teahon and sister to Karri Marzonie. She attended Fort Collins High School and graduated in 2001.Christy was a great teacher of life to many and loved the innocence of children. Christy was a volunteer story teller at Barton and Fullana Early Childhood Centers for the Early Head Start classes here in Fort Collins. Christy so enjoyed her special friends Nick Roussos and Niki Farina, as well as her many friends throughout the community. She loved music (especially summer concerts), and swimming. She was a "social butterfly" who loved walking at City Park and on the bike trails. Christy especially loved the monthly dances at the Senior Center.Christy is survived by her mother Linda Teahon-Miyagi and stepfather, Dan Miyagi, of Fort Collins, CO; sister Karri Marzonie and her husband, Jason, and their children Dylan Johnson and Jamen Marzonie of Fort Collins; and stepsisters Chana Miyagi and Bobbi Lehnert and Bobbi's son Talin Norris all of Fort Collins. Also surviving are her grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.Memorial contributions may be made to the Christy Teahon Memorial Fund in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 1530 Riverside Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
