"Betty Winter
Betty Winter, 76, of Buffalo Center, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at the Hancock County Memoral Hospital in Britt due to a lengthy illness.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 7, at the Graceland Cemetery in Buffalo Center.

Betty M. Martin Rahbusch Winter, was born November 13, 1934. Betty was the daughter of Bessie Martin. She grew up and received her education in Sutherland.
She was united in marriage to William Peter Rahbusch Jr. The couple was blessed with five children: Peter, Sharon, Barb, Deb, and Amy. they raaised their children on the family farm in Sutherland. Following the death of William, Bettywas reunited in marriage to her beloved husband Paul Winter on May 31, 1981.
Since their marriage they have resided in Buffalo Center.
Betty was an amazing wife, daughter, niece, sister, mother, and grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved photography, genealogy, carving wood sculptures, making minature furniture, computers, canning and freezing, and camping. Shealso enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren weeks at a time during the summers.
Survivors include her loving husband, Paul; her children: Barb Wren and Deb Welte, both of Anthon; Amy (Mike) Johnson, of Kimball, Minn.; two step-children: Al (Pam) Winter, of Clarion; and Tim (Karen) Winter, of Taylor Ridge, Ill.; sixgrandchildren: Greg (Amanda) Korleski, Ashley Hanson, Jamie (Dana) Hanson, Kate Hanson, Elizabeth Decker, Sydney Welte, and Jacob Welte; five step-grandchildren, Jesse, Brady, Matthew, Ryan, and Alex Winter; and three-great grandchildren:Taylor and Tristin Korleski, and Kaeson Hanson; step great-grandchildren: Genesis Winter and Jaymz Winter, as well as several other extended family members and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, sons: Peter and Robbie Rahbusch, daughter, Sharon Rahbusch Korleski Decker; son-in-law, Kirk Welte, and a grandson, Mike Wenck." <>
