"... I'll try to clarify a date of marriage for Mabel on my end if there is one. I will email Ronald and Darlene Kadlecik or Sherry (Kadlecik) Swihart. I will also give Rodney another call and see if he can give me his brother Dennis' phonenumber. I show Mabel going by the last name of Byington on documents from 4-1948 until 8-30-1951 when she married Mike Kadlecik. Unfortunately, I have no documentation from 1942 - 1947.

The timeline for this is confusing. I have a dom to Byington of 8/1946 and a baby born of this relatioship 5/1945 or 1 yr before. You have a dom to Aukes of 4-1946 and Dennis was born 9-1942 which is 4 yrs before. Was she only married 4mos to Donald Aukes or is the dom to Byington incorrect? Rodney was born in 1948. His birth record indicates he is the 3rd child of Mabel and the father is not listed.

According to my dad Mabel married Byington who was a potato farmer from Idaho but once she went with him to Idaho and found out he already had a couple other wives she came back home and they divorced. I cannot ask Mabel directly as shehas Alzheimers from what I understand.

Rodney legally changed his name 7-10-1992 from Rodney Dale Byington to Rodney Dale Aukes (I have a copy of the abstract for the name change). I also have a certificate of marriage for Mabel and Mike Kadlecik on 4-30-1951. Mabel's lastname on both the cert of marriage and the birth cert/name change for Rodney as well as a newspaper photo and article from my parents wedding in 1949 is listed as Byington.

Here is a copy of the death notice I found for Donald Aukes. It addresses Rodney's brother Dennis but makes no mention of Rodney or Mabel. ..."
