He died in 1715. His son Joseph moved to NC and died in 1743. To Joseph and his second wife Priscilla, John was born in 1717 in Craven County. John marrried Mary Barrington and moved to Wilkes County, GA, by 1784. He and his son Isaac were living there in the 1780s, near Bryant and oseph. Isaac married Anne Cox. They moved in 1806 from Warren County to Bulloch County. He went to Savannah for medical treatment and died there September 9, 1810. The Tallassee County was taken from the Creeks in 1818 and much new land was opened for settlement. The widow Edmondson moved with her six children to original Lowndes County in 1827-28. James (1799-1886) married Sabra James in Bulloch County. They settled east of present Hahira. JOhn (1808-1864) married Martha Strickland (1814-1882) and developed a plantation along Tallokas Road. David (1809-1864) married Dicy Tillman (1814-1891) and had his plantation just west of Morrison Curch. Susannah (1798-1865) married John Mathis. They lived north of Valdosia. Elizabeth (1801-1868) married William Holloway, Jr. Sarah (1802-1850) married William Alderman.
