LifeSketch: Adam's first wife was Margaret Potts. They married in 1815 in Kentucky. He belonged to the "New Light Christian" faith and founded the Pleasant View Church in Boone Co. and the Antioch Church in Clinton Co., IN.r 7 acres for the construction of the new church which until was completed in 1836. The Kerns were good friends with the Native American Indians in the area who would gather around outside the log building and listen during the services.
