LifeSketch: He began working in his youth as a blacksmith. While still a young man he worked in farming and trapping and later as a butcher for several years. He taught school at Idaho School of Technology in the mechanics Dept and later owned the Keystone Garage and the Tolman Machine Shop which he operated for 30 years. He was a high priest in the LDS Church and was a member of the 22nd Ward. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening in his later years.
