James Milburn Boarman married twice, first to his first cousin (see Chapter 7c2e4e2) Mary Catherine Clements about 1854 in Marion Co, Ky. Mary Catherine was born in April 1836 in Ky the daughter of John T Clements (born 1810 Ky, a farmer) and Elizabeth Turpin (born about 1812 Ky) who married the 27th of March 1830 in Garrard Co, Ky. Mary Catherine and James Milburn Boarman had eleven children, all born in Marion Co, Ky as follows: a) William Boarman was born in 1856 in Marion Co, Ky and was attending school and working as a clerk as shown in the 1870 Marion Co, Ky census. b) Belle Boarman (see Chapter 9c2e4c2b) was born in October 1857 in Marion Co, Ky and was attending school according to the 1870 Marion Co, Ky census. Belle Boarman married James L Johnson in 1878 in Marion Co, Ky. James was born in May 1856 in Ky the son of Daniel Johnson (born 1808 Pa, a farmer) and Ann, maiden name unknown (born 1817 Ky) of Lincoln Co, Ky. Belle and James Johnson had five children, all born in Daviess Co, Ky. For information about their children, see Chapter 9e2e4c2b. According to the 1900 Daviess Co, Ky census James Johnson was a farmer and was renting his farm. That 1900 census also shows Belle’s widower father was living with them. James L Johnson died the 18th of June 1940 in Daviess Co, Ky. c) Felix A Boarman was born in 1859 in Marion Co, Ky and was attending school according to the 1870 Marion Co, Ky census. d) James S “Jimmie” Boarman (see Chapter 9c2e4d2d) was born in November 1860 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Marion Co, Ky. James S “Jimmie” Boarman married a women (we do not know her name because she died before 1900) about 1885 in Marion Co, Ky. James Boarman and his wife had two children, both born in Marion Co, Ky. For information about his children, see Chapter 9c2e4d2d. According to the 1900 Marion Co, Ky census we find James’s sisters, Francis Boarman and Mary Boarman were living with him and his children. The 1910 Marion Co, Ky census shows James Boarman a widower and having his daughter Mary and grandson Joseph living with him. There is some confusion with his son Joseph and grandson Joseph in the census. e) George W Boarman (see Chaper 9c2e4c2e) was born in 1864 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Daviess Co, Ky. George W Boarman married Narcissa Provy, maiden name unknown in 1890 in Ohio Co, Ky. Narcissa Provy was born in December 1863 in Kentucky. Narcissa Provy and George Boarman had seven children, all born in Ohio Co, Ky. For information about their children, see Chapter 9c2e4c2e. George Boarman was a farmer and owned his farm free of mortage according to the 1900 and 1920 Ohio Co, Ky census. According to the 1920 Ohio Co, Ky census George Boarman and Narcissa Provy had their daughter Georgia Boarman and son Willard Boarman living with them. As shown in the 1930 Ohio Co, Ky census George Boarman and Narcissa Provy had their granddaughter, Christine Ward (born 1924 Ky) living with them. George W Boarman died the 7th of September 1944 in Daviess Co, Ky. f) Jeffery “Jeff” Boarman was born in 1866 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Daviess Co, Ky. As shown in the 1880 Daviess Co, Ky census was attending school and that census states that Jeffery Boarman has pneumonia. g) Joseph L Boarman (see Chapter 9c2e4c2g) was born in October 1868 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Daviess Co, Ky. According to the 1880 Daviess Co, Ky census Joseph Boarman was attending school. Joseph L Boarman married Luella Kinkead in 1889 in Daviess Co, Ky. Luella was born in September 1874 in Kentucky. Luella and Joseph Boarman had nine children, all born in Daviess Co, Ky. See Chapter 9c2e4c2g for information about their children. Joseph Boarman was a farmer and owned his farm with a mortage as shown in the 1900 Daviess Co, Ky census. According to the 1910 Ky sndx Luella’s widow mother was living with them. h) John F Boarman was born in 1868 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Daviess Co, Ky. John F Boarman died the 14th of December 1947 in Daviess Co, Ky. At this time this is all we know about him. i) Mattie Boarman was born in December 1869 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Daviess Co, Ky. j) Francis R Boarman was born in June 1871 in Marion Co, Ky and raised in Marion Co, Ky. Francis Boarman was living with her brother James Boarman according to the 1900 Marion Co, Ky census. Mary Catherine [Clements[ Boarman died about 1874 and then James Milburn Boarman married widow Mollie, maiden name unknown, Jones about 1876 in Marion Co, Ky. Mollie was born in 1847 in Kentucky and married previously and had a daughter, Hattie Jones (born 1871 Ky) living with them. Mollie and James Milburn Boarman had a daughter, born in Marion Co, Ky. k) Mary G Boarman was born in July 1883 in Marion Co, Ky and according to the 1900 Marion Co, Ky census was living with her brother James Boarman.
