LifeSketch: In 1910 Philip was listed as a shoe clerk and in a prison house. He married his first wife Vivian 1915. after Vivian's death he married a second time to Liticia and had a daughter Sally Anne Faris. In 1930 he was still living in L. A. California area. He was a "stocks and bonds broker" at this point. Philip had his two sons listed on the 1930 census just before they moved to be raised by their aunt. t Santa Monica, Calif. He had lived in California for several years. He left two sons, who live with his sister, Mrs. C. H. Wiley, of Anna.borod , Union County, Illinoisly they had run out of names. This seemed to Isabella to be such a nice word. Philip served on the. USS Chester on “The Great White Fleets” cruise around the world in 1909. In 1915 he married Vivian Hannah in Beebe Ark., where William Wallace (now a D.D. like his grandfather) was born. Paul Thomson Faris was born in Drexal Hills, Pa., Feb. 27, 1920. Upon their mother’s death the two boys came to live with Marion and Charles in Anna, Illinois. Upon the death of their father they were adopted by Marion and Charles. 73-74.
