A footnote is placed on Margaret.In the NOtes section of chapter 12 at the back of the book p 418 the Cannongate Record of her birth is recorded Margrot born 2 Jun 1690 and then all the witnesses, James Douglas, coling Campbell and baptised in the Cannongate by Mr Carstars. It hten states "she probably died young", indicating he didn't know what happened to her. A lawsuit over Archibald Campbell's debts, that occurred after his death, named all of the living children.
