Also had a general store. "Was strictly upright and conscientious in all his transactions". Name appears in the Bicentennial book of Upper Paxton Township in Dauphin county, Pa in the context of being an early pioneer in the manufacturing of leather. This was in Armstrong Valley in the 1800-1810 time frame. He gave him the following certificate: 'Sunbury, March 17, 1834. This is to certify that A. Brown was in my employ as a clerk, for three months, and was honest and attentive to his business, and gave full satisfaction. he was not turned away for any bad conduct, but merely on the account of his religious principles. But not bad examples--but as a Universalist. GEORGE LEEBRICK.' with orthodoxy. Containing in front on High Street one hundred and twenty feet,, corner of High and Prusian Street and in depth to a Lot of Peter Heintzelman one hundred and eighty six feet, Number Two hundred and seventy five being one In lot, one out Lot, Number fifty seven, containing two acres of Land, one out Lot Number fifty nine, containing two acres of Land, one out Lot Number Six, containing two acres, one out Lot number one hundred and Seventeen, containing two acres and a half of Land, one out Lot Number One hundred and twenty four, containing two acres and a half of Land, one other out Lot Number Eight, containing Three acres of Land and one In Lot Number one hundred and sixty seven.the Said John Librich deceased, that the same having been first duly valued and appraised by an Inquest awarded by the Said Court was by the Said Court adjudged to Philip Librich the eldest Brother of the Said John Librich deceased. To hold to him the said Philip Liebrich his Heirs and Assigns forever. He paying or causing to be paid to the other Brothers and Sisters of the said John Librich deceased their respective Shares of Such valuation according to Law, and in and by the Records and Proceedings of the Said Court may appear.he said John Librich deceased hath agreeable to the directions of the said Orphans Court well and faithfully paid and made full satisfaction unto the said George Librich, Daniel Librich, Elizabeth Librich, Mary Librich, Sarah Librich and Catharine Librich, widow, for their and each and every of their Shares of and in the Sum of one thousand seven hundred fifty two Pounds thirteen Shillings and four pence being the Sum at and for which the Said Real Estate are valued and appraised as aforesaid, that is to say, He has paid the Sum of Two hundred and fifty Pounds, seven Shilling and seven pence 1/2 penny to each of the said Heirs for their Shares thereof. Sarah Librich and the Mother Catharine Librich for themselves their Heirs Executors and Administrators do and each and every of them doth by these presents remise release and for ever quit claim unto the said Philip Librich his Heirs Executors Ad,Administrators & Assigns all and every the said Parts and Shares of them the said George Librich & Mary his wife, Daniel Librich & Elizabeth his wife, Elizabeth Librich, Mary Librich, Sarah Librich and Catharine Librich and each and every one of them of and in the valuation Money for the Real Estate aforesaid, and all Actions Suits Claims and Demands whatsoever in any manner relating to or respecting the same. possess & enjoy the said Real Estate within described with the appurtenances fully and absolutely acquitted and discharged of and from all and every the Parts & Shares of them the Said George Librich & Mary his wife, Daniel Librich & Elizabeth his wife, Elizabeth Librich, Mary Liebrich, Sarah Librich and Catharine Librich of in to and out of the valuation or appraisement Money aforesaid.ed Book W, Vol 3, pp87-90
