   LifeSketch: Although old research identified this John, son of Thomas Graves as the same John Graves who married Sarah Dicken, more recent research has proved that he was NOT that John.of the John who married Sarah Dicken:son of Thomas.0 and died about 1739.the fact that John Graves qualifies as administrator we consider him the oldest son. He was not a son of either Francis or Richard, as their wills show, and his birth is too early for him to have been a grandson. By elimination, therefore, he was a son of Thomas.
