1. A sub-arachnoid haemorrhage is a sudden leak of blood (haemorrhage) over the surface of the brain. The brain is covered by a series of membranes, one of which is called the arachnoid,
2. HEMIPLEGIA is a type of CEREBRAL PALSY that results from damage to the parts of the brain that control muscle movements. This damage may occur before, during or shortly after birth.
The term HEMIPLEGIA, means that the paralysis is on one side of the body. A similar medical term, HEMIPARESIS, means a weakness on one side of the body. In children with hemiplegia, the paralysis in the body occurs on the side opposite the affected part of the brain. For example, if the left side of the child's brain is injured, then the paralysis will be on the right side of the child's body.

1920 TIRED OF BUYING DOG COLLARS.
Leitch, Andrew, Evening Telegraph, Tuesday, February 24, 1920
TIRED OF BUYING DOG COLLARS.
Mr George Brander, the procurator fiscal, at Cupar Sherif Court this afternoon, stated that there had been a lot of sheep-worrying in the Cameron Bridge district, and it was important that dogs should have collars, so that they could be traced. James Wilson, electrician, Cameron Bridge; William Miller, miner, 11 Wellsgreen Terrace; and Andrew Leitch, Cameron Bridge, who each pleaded guilty to being the owners of dogs found without collars on the highway, were each fined 7s 6d.
Alexander Young, Cupar, who was fined 10s for not having a collar on his dog for three years, and was tired of buying collars.
The Sheriff -- What becomes of the collars?
Young--somebody takes them off the dog's neck.
Young had a previous conviction.
