The brides Christian name is recorded as Agnes, in both parishes.

A search on Scotland's people for children with a father named Harrower and a mother named Syme, revealed that there were at least twelve children born, in 5 cases the mothers name was Agnes Syme, the fathers name was Colin Harrower, in the remaining 7 cases, the mothers name was Ann Syme, the father was Colin Harrower.

Isabella age 25, (born c1844) married James Rennie, in Albert Place, Stirling, on 22nd October 1869, Mother recorded as Agnes, Father recorded as Colin, woollen weaver.
There is no record of Isabella’s death on Scotland’s people.

Agnes, born Alloa, 20 May 1846, Mother recorded as Agnes, Father recorded as Colin.
Agnes, age 23 (born c 1847), married Alexander Sinclair, on 30 December 1870, at Stirling Street, Alva. Mother recorded as Agnes, Father recorded as Colin.

Colin's wife died 24th May 1897, in Alva, at 25 Baker Street, Stirling, and normal residence being 56 Johnstone Street, Alva. (Place of death of Colin)
She was recorded as being ‘Widow of Colin Harrower, Shawl Weaver’.
Informant of her death was Peter Harrower, her son, of 29 James Street, Alva. Peter died in James Street, Alva. On his death, his mother was recorded as Agnes.

Her parents are recorded as Father, Mungo Sim, Seaman, Merchant Service, and Mother, Janet Sim, MS Anderson.
Her name was Ann.

Agnes Syme born 2nd October 1825, her parents are Mungo Syme, b,1794, and Janet Anderson, b. around 1799. You have AGNES SYME, b. 04 Jun 1822, as being daughter to William Syme and Grizzel Marshal marrying Colin Harrower. It is Agnes born 1825 that marries Colin Harrower in Alloa on 9 August 1842. Agnes, born 1849, dies in 1897. her name on death record is Ann,

The births of Colin and Agnes/Anns children between 1843 & 1868 (13 of them) the mother is recorded as being both Ann (7 births) and Agnes (6 births)
Subsequent marriage and death records of their children record the Mother as being Agnes or Ann!
Colin and Agnes are my 2nd Great Grandparents
