KITTRELL Funeral services for Cecil Stanley Kittrell of Katie, OK will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2001 in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley with Elder Bill Huckaby officiating. Interment will be in the Katie Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Cecil Stanley Kittrell was born January 13, 1938 to Cecil & Nettie (Herriage) Kittrell and departed this life Tuesday, October 16, 2001 at the age of 63 years. Mr. Kittrell grew up & attended school in Elmore City and graduated in 1956. Mr. Kittrell at one time was Vice President of Jetco Inc. He was also the past President of the Oklahoma Country Music Association and had won the Top Steel Guitar Player of the year. Mr. Kittrell enjoyed fishing, country music and playing his steel guitar. Mr. Kittrell is survived by his son: Loy Kittrell & his wife Cindy of Pauls Valley, OK; daughter: Diann Titlbach of Cedar Rapids, IA; son-in-law, Bill Shipp of Cedar Rapids, IA; 2 brothers: Gary Kittrell & his wife Kay of Maysville, OK; Ted Kittrell & his wife Debbie of Moore, OK; 2 sisters: Judy Henry & her husband Sam of Maysville, OK, Carlene McCaskill & her husband Burl of Maysville, OK; 2 grandchildren: Rheannon & Bill Shipp, Jr.; 2 step grandchildren: Stonie & Dustin Popejoy of Pauls Valley, also 2 step great-grandchildren. Mr. Kittrell is preceded in death by: parents; 2 brothers: Donald Kittrell in 1962, Tim Kittrell in 1973; 1 son: Terry Wayne Kittrell in June of 2000.
