Letha Livingston Chestnut, 87, of North Kings Highway, widow of Joe B. Chestnut, died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, after an illness.
She was born in Conway, a daughter of the late William Solon and Mossie Anna Stanley Livingston.
She was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and of the Virginia Anderson Sunday school class.
Survivors include two sons, James Chestnut and his wife, Jean, of Myrtle Beach, and Harold Chestnut and his wife, Sylvia, of Longs; two daughters, Joyce C. Dargan and her husband, Deck, of Myrtle Beach, and Sylvia C. Divine and her husband, Jack, of Michigan; a brother, W. S. Livingston of Longs; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. today at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Steve Cromer will officiate. Burial will be in Chestnut Cemetery.

The funeral was at 4 p.m. Saturday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The Rev. Steve Cromer officiated. Burial was in Chestnut Cemetery.
