Wallace Causey, 69, of Pea Landing Road, died Thursday, March 15, 2001,at home.
He was born April 22, 1931, in Brunswick County.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Bellamy Causey; two sons, Wiley EarlCausey of Calabash, N.C., and Wallace Kevin Causey of Ash; two daughters,Nancy C. Moore of Bolton, N.C., and Carolyn C. Hickman of Ash.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Brunswick Funeral Service &Crematory in Shallotte, N.C. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday atThomasboro Freewill Baptist Church.

ASH - Causey, Wallace, 69, Pea Landing Rd, died Thursday, March 15, 2001at his residence.
Mr. Causey was born on April 22, 1931 in Brunswick County. He was a sonof the late Richard G. and Letha Mae Bland Causey. He retired after 27years from US Government as a Longshoreman.
Mr. Causey is survived by his wife, Shelby Bellamy Causey; two sons,Wiley Earl Causey, Calabash, NC, Wallace Kevin Causey, Ash, NC; twodaughters, Nancy C. Moore, Bolton, NC, Carolyn C. Hickman, Ash, NC; threebrothers, Richard Causey, Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Dock Earl Causey, Longs,SC, & J.M. Causey, Cary, NC; two sisters, Madgelene C. Cribb, Ash, NC,Ann C. Evans, Wilmington, NC; three grandchildren, Tiffany Russ, SummerCausey, and Mitchell Russ.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 atThomasboro Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Dallas Byrd. Burial willbe in the *Gore Cemetery.
Visitation will held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 16 at the funeralhome.
