Rev. George, his wife, and three children (Samuel, Hannah, andElizabeth), arrived in New England, at the Massachusetts Bay Colony (nearBoston), aboard one of the eleven ships of the Winthrop Fleet. Theydeparted from Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. The first five ships sailed onApril 8, 1630; they arrived in Salem June 13 and days following. Theremaining ships sailed in May and arrived in July.
