by the Pulaski County, Ky Historical Society. Marilyn TANNER states that
there is an old fieldstone illegible with the appearance of a J-----
believed to be that of John DICK Jr. To get to the DICK Cemetery take
Hwy. 1676 in Science Hill, Ky.

P. Westley on 8 Jan 1824 with a Robert Westley as surety. Marriage Bonds

My Gr. Great Grandfather John Dick was born October 20, 1786 in Cheter Dist. South Carolina, and died March 10, 1868 in Pulaski County, where he was buried in the Dick Cemetery. John Dick's parents were John and Margaret (Wiley) Dick. His father John Dick Sr. was born 1747 in Ireland, and died November 19, 1832 and is buried in the Sardis Cemeter, in Ky. The Dick family traces back to 1696 in Belfast Ireland where William James Dick married a Margaret McQuillan. My Grandfather Logan A. Dick is a great great grandson of this family line.
