MISS CARRIE JENNIE YOUNG, 90, of 9705 Red Lane Drive, who died Monday, was a native of Wilcox County. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church and for 17 years was superintendent of Ivey Hospital in West Point, Miss. Survivors include a sister, Miss Maude Young, Birmingham, and two brothers, Robert M. Young, Birmingham and John O. Young, Biloxi, Miss. Graveside services were today at Elmwood with Brown-Service Norwood directing..

Carrie Jennie Young was the 3rd of six children born to John Oliver and Elizabeth Knox [née Cook] Young.
For many years, Carrie was Superintendent of training nurses at Ivy Hospital and Training School in West Point, Mississippi.
