Mrs. Mary E. Lane, of Morgan, Passes After 2-year Illness
Mary Elizabeth Lane, of Morgan, wife of Spunce Lane, died June 7, 1939, and was buried in the Kopperl cemetery.
Mrs. Lane had been an invalid for two years and her life being prolonged was a surprise to the medical profession.
She was a devout Christian and her abiding condfidence in the God sheworshipped had quite a bit to do with her patrience in her long inlless. She never gave up her home of life, but was entirely reconciled tothe will of God. She leaves her husband and a host of friends and relatives to mourn her death.
Services were held in Morgan Baptist Church by Rev. W. N. Greer and Rev, Schultze and her body buried in Kopperl cemetery.
